INTRODUCING: ZAK WILLIAMS & 1 AKORD



Zak Williams  the Stellar Award Winning Producer, Songwritter, Husband, Father, Founder of Philadelphia Based Choir 1/AKORD started his musical career at the early age of 5. As a young boy he began playing the Piano, Drums and soon moved on to play other instruments. He furthered his passion for music by attending the Settlement Music School located in Philadelphia, Pa.


 His Professional musical journey took its formation when he became the Organist for the Rev Ernest Davis Jr.'s Wilmington – Chester Mass Choir . From this life changing experience Zak appeared on 6 CD's. This experience opened the door to his national musical career allowing him play for and with some of gospel music's greatest singers and musicians.

 Zak has produced & has written songs for various artists and different churches. His most recent song, "There Is No Way" appears on Bishop Hezekiah Walker's 2010 Stellar Award Winning "SOULED OUT" project..

From the foot stomping sounds of “Things Are Gonna Get Better” to the rich soulful melodies of “No More Sadness” to the smooth intro of high worship of “Closer” and the electrifying praise of “Testimony” Philadelphia’s “Stellar Award Winning Producer” Zak Williams powerfully leads this Thirty member aggregation founded in 2004 into a riveting flow of Sunday morning worship.

This choir is no stranger to the main stage they have appeared on stage with some of Gospel Music’s finest, as well as The Josh Groban & Trace Adkins tours respectively & also several appearances on Bobby Jones Gospel seen on BET & The Word Network.
